Aol Users, Beware!!! Ok, I am not a big fan of AOL. When I hear people have an AoL account, I cringe. How hard is it to cancel and AOL account? Go here and listen to this poor guy.
Plus, AOl adverstises as no credit card required for the free trial. Trust me, you must have a credit card in order to use the free trial software. I tried it once. I tried to cancel once, and was given a hard time as well. Happy surfing.

I had used AOL for about a year. And two years after cancelling it I was charged an annual fee. That took 4 telephone calls to finally get to speak to someone in management. Explaining that I no longer lived at that address, didn't have that telephone number, hadn't had any charges in two years.
It was a *royal* pain to say the least. I only had a cell phone at the time too, and spent a couple of hours on hold that cost me quite a bit. :( I'll never use aol again, that's for sure.
